Always keep in mind, the space has to be functional and simple. You don’t want to overwhelm the powder room with knick knacks and whatzits galore.

The Patterned Classic
Make a bold statement with an elongated oval mirror. Adding this type of mirror in your powder room will give the illusion of a higher ceiling.
This room is from our 204 Waterloo Street development, and we matched the interiors and exteriors of the house with the characteristics of the River Heights neighbourhood. Throughout the home, you will find traditional and transitional designs.
The shaded sconce lighting fixture provided a sense of elegance, along with the panel moulding on the walls.
Paragon is all about the details. We added marble floor tiles in a rhombus mosaic, which creates an optical illusion. This ties back to the transitional touches we added in the space.
The hand towel ring and faucet is from the Kohler Purist collection.
The Wallpapered Beaut
Bring some funk to your powder room with a sophisticated wallpaper.
Unlike a full bathroom with a shower and a tub, powder rooms aren’t exposed to moisture and condensation, which makes them a great space for wallpapers.
The white shaker cabinet is functional and adds to the classic feel of the room. And who wouldn’t love the coffered ceiling detail custom-made with crown moulding?
Add contrast to the wall by using a gold-framed hexagon mirror.
Finally, we installed a wide-spread lavatory faucet to complete the look of our 95 Borebank Street powder room.
The Rustic Stunner
If you’re going for a rustic theme, why not go with a black and white colour palette like we did for our 43 Northern Lights Drive powder room?
Consider using black hexagon tiles with contrasting grout to create depth and dimension. To give the room a rustic feel, we used gold globe sconces for the lighting fixture and a gold hardware - faucet, hand towel ring and toilet paper holder. For the cherry on top, we installed a wooden walnut ledge adding further contrast and functionality.
The Minimalist
Here’s another black and white themed powder room from our 18 Greenlawn Street build.
Herringbone tiles with contrasting grout makes for a beautiful feature wall. For this room’s lighting fixture, we installed linear sconces to keep it simple and minimalistic.
Want an elegant feel? Go for a quartz countertop and marble ceramic tiles.
